Ryan Young aka “The Funky Monsieur” is a Harlem based MPA student and creator of the Harlem House Project, a monthly house, and dinner-party which takes place in different apartments throughout the village of Harlem.
He cites various influences in his playing style, including the energy and fluency of New York City, the soulful ease in his home state of Mississippi and the dance culture at Florida A&M where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
